Ivan Basauri is the owner of Basauri Sound, LLC, which provides production sound mixing services for television, film, commercials, and broadcast. With more than twenty years of experience, Ivan has worked with hundreds of clients on a wide range of projects involving scripted narrative and documentary work. Recent projects include Cross (mixer, DC unit), Rustin (audio playback DC unit), Bring On The Dancing Horses (mixer), Mending The Line (mixer), American Crime Story (boom, DC Unit), The White House Plumbers (boom/UST, DC Unit), and Don’t Look Up (boom, DC Unit). Regular clients include HBO, Netflix, BBC, VICE TV, ESPN, The Discovery Channel, Disney, National Geographic, and many more. Ivan previously worked in post-production sound, music production, and radio broadcasting. Ivan has a strong work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He understands his clients’ needs and works with them to produce high quality sound. He is available for union and non-union productions.

In addition, Ivan got his BFA in Fine Art Photography from the Corcoran College of Art and has been producing images ever since. Both in music and in imaging, Ivan has always embraced analog and digital mediums and many times combining them to get the message across.
